My work is pretty varied – I’m an experienced copywriter and I write everything from magazine articles and marketing materials, to web copy, product descriptions, social media and blog posts.
Portfolio of Work – Professional Copywriter
I’m proud of my work portfolio, which embraces beauty, health and lifestyle copywriting but also covers legal, business and travel writing too. I’ve been lucky enough to work with many well known health, beauty and consumer brands.
Here’s a few of my articles on Contently
I started out as a features editor for Beauty and Health Publishing in 2000, writing about spas, health, beauty and nails. This job ignited my love for health and beauty copywriting, and since then I have gone on to write for several magazines, including Salon Today, Slim at Home, Soul and Spirit, and P3 Pharmacy Magazine
One of the most rewarding projects I have worked on is editing Essex based Insipred Magazine from 2011-2013. I was responsible for creating the style of the magazine, planning, researching, editing and above all, the content. The magazine covered beauty and health, fashion, food, business, lifestyle and celebrity interviews.
I even got to interview Sonya Madan from Echobelly – total nineties girl crush!
I write original content with style and personality for blogs covering anything from upmarket spas, and luxury beauty, to health and lifestyle, consumer law and travel.
Agencies I’ve worked for include iMarketing, SEOmers, Oi Media, White.net and 1st Class Media, and I’ve also worked with SpaSeekers, The One Thai Massage Centre and FatPhrocks, written product descriptions for Vagheggi and a complete website revamp for Simple.
One of my favourite projects ever was working on a Marilyn Monroe biography…you can read it here.
In my seven years as a professional health copywriter, I have written about everything from Irritable Bowel Syndrome to nappy rash and still managed to smile at the end of a day’s work.
If you need to know anything, just ask. I have copies of magazines and links to more work if you’d like to see them.
